If you downloaded a dataset or individual signals from the CapnoBase, you can copy the files directly into a dataset folder with the path 'data/DATASET_NAME' in the CapnoBase directory of your computer.

If you want to edit or display your own signals, it is highly reccommended the you use the 'import' feature included in the Signal Evaluation Tool. The files you import must be in a supported file type and structure. The import tool will check for correct file structure.
